Hey guys, sorry I haven't been on in a while.

Anyway here is a story from my local paper summed up:

This takes place around 2 a.m. The story goes that a car with local highschoolers pulled up to a house becasue it resembled a castle and they wanted to get a better look at it. (At 2 a.m.? I don't know about that but that's what the paper says.) Anyway the homeowner took a high powered rifle (paper doesn't say what kind) and fired from an upstairs window on the highschoolers vehical. Before the highschoolers could flee in their vehicle one was grazed with a bullet. The homeowner said that he saw the vehicle a couple times that night and thought it was suspicous and was just protecting his family.

Isn't this what gun owners hate to hear about? Someone that's a little trigger happy and "jumps the gun" (so to speak). This is what anti-gunners love to hear about.

I would have givin them a few verbal warnings first. Pulling the trigger should be used as a last resort. Although a few warning shots cant hurt

I got to agree,a warning shot is normally enough to scare kids away, just be ready to explain to the cops why you fired thaT shot to begin with. But a loud verbal warning would have been my first course of action,if that failed then pssibly a warning shot.
Want my ammo?Ok,stand downrange.

Well, we're missing alot of details here, but if he was shooting at some unidentified person in a car at the end of his lane because "he saw a couple cars go by" this guy is a whack-job (in my humble opinion) who should not be allowed to own firearms.

I guess the police are investigating the guy. His neighbors have reported that this is not the first time he has done something rash and unsensable.
