Hey everyone, just thought I would share with you this years archery buck, its my 5th archery buck in 5 years, all record book bucks.

I took this buck on 11-14-2008. The first two pics were taken with my cell phone from the spot he piled up, the last three pics are from when I got him back home.

LOL. Actually they are red cedars and a major nuisance. The governemnt began planting them in our state around the dust bowl era for wind blocks, and they are rapidly taking over. They drink so much water they are killing good mast bearing trees. When they start growing they starve all other trees of water.

The last couple of years the state has been pushing the eradication of these trees, its an impossible task, but I do my part yearly. However, I must admit, I do selectively leave some of these trees to help my hunting.

That being said, I want to thank everyone for their compliments. Now I am focusing on getting my ten year old daughter her first buck. This is her first year hunting and she harvested her first doe during our youth season in mid October.

Again, thanks everyone.
