Does anyone around here shot with a 7mm.08? Do you like the gun?

I did order a win. short mag in a 7mm hope to get it soon, I hear the 7mm08 is an awesome long distance runner, but i've also heard it's pricey to shoot very often.

Hey MP, and welcome to the forum --- the 7-08 is a fantastic whitetail cartridge. I'd sight it about 2" high at 100 yds and you should be slick out to around 225-250yds. Good luck!

Yes this is a great caliber i absolutely love my remington 7mm-08.. Don't kid yourself just get it

I have a remington 7mm.08 and it is the best gun i have ever hunted with. It is excellent at long distances

I own a Remington Model 7 in 7mm-08, stainless synthetic and topped with a Leupold 1.5X-5X scope. It's my all-time favorite deer rifle. It's handy in the woods yet can reach out yonder with the best of'em.

my hunting partner carrys one of them guns, its extemely light weight. it has a camo stock, with leupold 3-9 scope. i like the gun myself. we went groundhog hunting wit it awhile ago.
