7x57 rifle

Hi Guys, I want, I NEED (ha,ha) a rifle that shoots the 7x57 round, so I can deer hunt NY state. I would like a commercial model, but would except a sporterized goverment model. Hopefully it has a scoped. I am from MASS. Thanks, Brent

Hi NY, I have received the "OK" to hunt Copek off of rt 22 south from Mass Pike, where rt. 23 meets, this year, Sept. 2004. I do not need a 7x57 anymore, I am having a "One of a Kind" gun made up by SAVAGE, in Westfield, MA. My ex-home town. The model 114UGXP3 +, in 7 mm (7x57). It is a combination of 110GXP3 & the ULTRA Model 114U with a scope & Jeweled bolt. I have to wait for 1/2 month more to have IT made up so I can hunt NY. Glad to know you finnaly have the gun lol . Well thats a good area too hunt, me and my dad wnet down there on a hunt and got a real nice buck but i havent been there in a couple years so let me know how it is.


Well my gun of choice to use is a 30-30 Whinchster with a 170 grain whinchest supreme cause i hunt in alot of brush and thats a great brush buster lol.. My scope is a 12x16 bushnell range finder and boy that comes in handy when i need to take those shots lol..

But heres the thing im only 15 but I know more about hunting , guns, and all the outdoors than alot of my family lol .. im hooked for life cause ive been in the oudoors all my life and ive been all over ny state lol..

well i got to go but right back and tell me bout yor self and hope fully we can get some more ppl on lol

you boys are lucky.i have to use a 1974 remington 1100 12 guage. however i got that baby set at 120yrds with a 2x simmons scope and a hastings rifled barrel........hey by the way i'm looking for aplace to hunt in MA!!!
