? about OPTIMA

I have a question to anyone who could answer it. I have never even shot a muzzleloader and am buying one really soon, I really like the CVA Optima CAMO-nickle. Its a 50 cal. it seems pretty easy to clean and maintain . Also I was wondering if anyone has an opinion about the CVA Optima pros and cons. I hunt in Wisconsin and I would probably be hunting in some pretty thick woods. Any info I would be truly thankful.

My only suggestion, would be to read the owners manual thouroughly, and do any and every search on the web that you can. There is alot of great info to be shared.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

I have an Optima 209 (CVA). Great gun, easy to clean. I have a 50 cal.,but I shoot a 45-240 power belt bullet in it for moe acurracy.
To clean it,use 3 equal parts of Peroxide, alcohol, and Murphy's oil soap. That the easiest solution I've found yet.
I just started muzzloader hunting and killed 2 deer wirth it.I love it.
Hope that helped you some.
