Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009
It has already started...
Ammunition Accountability Legislation
Remember how Obama said that he wasn't going to take your guns? Well, it
seems that his allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your
ammo! The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois
and Indiana ) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a
data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.
Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.
Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011.
(Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every
round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!
If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama , Arizona ,
California , Connecticut , Hawaii , Illinois , Indiana , Kentucky , Maryland ,
Mississippi , Missouri , New Jersey , New York , Pennsylvania , Rhode Island ,
South Carolina , Tennessee , and Washington .
Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

It wont stand a snowballs chance in hades here in Missouri. LOL,,at least i am not the only one with a bad attitude towards the urban representives that dont represent my way of thinking. If it does look like it would pass,,,i have ALOT of land that can have ammo dumps all over it. Come on my place bring lots of men, kevlar and body bags. I will hand over my ammo,,,1 round at a time.

I could see this passing. It is in no way unconstitutional (As much as I would hate if this passed in these states.) It's times like this when I hate that the framers of the constitution were so vauge in the constitution. What would they say if they were here?

I called our State Rep. and was told the bill in PA died, but the d## anti-gunners can keep bringing it up each session.

I'm amazed that very few people really know what the 2nd amendment is really about. Hunting, shooting sports, and self-defense is only a part of the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment is mainly for citizens to take up arms when the government becomes oppressive. You could say we only need the 2nd amendment when the government tries to take it from us.
