Another one down

Last evening I sent another groundhog to that bean field in the sky, at 278 yards with the help of a Ruger Mark II in 25-06, here are some pic's. I also threw a picture in of my new buddy.

Well done sir. Nothing like watching a whistle pig's tail do the death wiggle from a couple of hundred yards away. :D

Nice shot from that far. Also, I must say that I love your new buddy. My wife had a husky growing up while I had german shepherds. Needless to say we got a german shepherd but if we were to get another one, we'd probably get a husky.

Nice shot on the pig.I used to shoot the heck out of them. All the hay farms i had to hunt them on are now sold.So up until last year i had a hay day.I now live a little bit further south from where i grew up and the fields that i am able to hunt just dont seem to hold the pigs. The soil here is a good bit sandier.I think that has something to do with it.
