Any good magazines out there?

Postby WTAILHUNTER » Thu Jun 26, 2008 2:23 pm

I'm bored so starting another topic..

I'm looking for a good technical archery mag...I like eastons technical bulletins but they stopped doing them.

I'm probably going to get the US and International Archer mag.. but first I'm taking my brothers advice and going to barnes and noble to read a copy of it to make sure it's what I expect in a technical archery mag

I would like a magazine that has a product testing section that isn't bull! all the mags out there like deer and deer hunting has some good info on hunting in general but you never hear them say a product sucked! every thing these mags test is the best thing since they invented the wheel and we can all a-test to the fact that there is a lot of dung out there.

Maybe I should publish a (consumer "HUNTING" reports) mag where every product is field tested by several hunters across the country (different weather, terrain, Species of game etc ) and an honest review of the product is written.

Not like those stupid sling-sticks no offense to anyone using them but lets get with reality ha... they show these clowns yanking the string to release the sticks..lmao all the deer with-in two countys are gone from the noise. (hey i'm just stating the way they say to use them) don't shoot the messenger! and you know your not going to leave them out dangling around..If they want to pull a string how bout to the tampon 200 cup race...Image

Or how about those laser range finders with ARC? I don't know how I got by with out spending $400 on these...oh wait from my tree stand I range the bottom of the trees I'm ranging and not straight across.. another wast of money.

I don't want to upset anybody just incase someone gets worked up these are my opinions and we all know what opinions are like...

Just my 2 cents..any thoughts?

Sorry Wtailhunter, I'm not a bow hunter myself, so I can't reccomend a magazine, but I could not help but notice that was quite a rant unter the topic of "Any good magazines out there". Clearly you really are bored. Have you tried fishing?

I speak the truth thou...aaah

My brother keeps trying to get me fishing again, it's been years since I fished. He keeps texting me photos of 8lbs trout and salmon he's been catching with his ultra light rod. He says it's like when gun hunting becomes too east you take up bow hunting and when yankin fish out of the water with a regular fishing pole becomes non challenging you switch to fishing with an ultra light rod..FEEL THE FIGHT HE SAYS...

aaaaa! maybe I'll try bow hunting trout Image

Hell I hope someone does! I invented a product for hunting and I got gray hairs from everything that is involved...it's not easy!
