Nope, I use a Traditions Pursuit LT .50 cal inline. I'd like to try hunting with Davy Crockett's old betsy though.

Hey Sarge. Old ex-jarhead here too. I purchased a new Accura this year, back in August. Saw my buddy shooting his and couldn't resist. Due to a bum shoulder I just can't take the recoil it produces, in order to shoot 200 yards. I can't get that range using light powder loads. But it shoots great, out to 100 or so, using 90 grains of loose Triple-7 and a 295 gr Powerbelt. I'm happy with it. I have an old TC Renegade in .50 that I love too. Bought that one new as well. It still shoots one-inch groups out to about 100 or so. Also have an older Knight Camo Wolverine I bought new as well. It too shoots well at fairly short ranges (under 100). I've killed a ton of deer with all but the Accura. I simply haven't shot at one yet with the new one is all. All are good guns, in my opinion. The Accura is probably the most accurate however. I wouldn't part with any of them, at this point,.....not that I need all three though. :D
