anyone getting ready for bear hunting

just wanted to see how many people are getting ready for the up coming bear hunting season in maine

By the looks of this web sight, you guys have all the bear hunting up there in Maine that you want. How many have you taken, and with what, bow or gun?
I'm in Arizona, and my dad has taken a black bear here on one of the reservations with a rifle, and I'm thinking of getting a tag for th up coming season Oct.22th-Dec.31st.

I think my dad is going black bear hunting this year...they have a bear who's eating all their crops and stuff at their hunting camp so I think they're gonna buy the seal or w/e it is and attempt to down it this year.... yeah it starts at around the time that school starts doesn't it? In September?

I am from Maine and have baited bear a lot. Many of my friends have taken bear but i think i am goin to try it this year. I have had them around me a lot when i was deer hunting but im gunna try to get one this year.

personally id say i like the baiting more than i like the actual hunting. when i go baiting its a f----- blast.
