Hiya Ilikepie,

Well, if you have a slow cooker, just put a few whole cleaned squirrels in there, sprinkle them with salt and pepper, and add a cup of teriaki sauce and baste the squirrels with it. Put the slow cooker on low heat and cook it for about five hours. (Put it on at lunchtime, and it will be ready for dinner).

If you are around while it's cooking, it's best to baste the squirrels with the sauce in the bottom of the pan a few times during that five hours. But you can also just baste it at the end of the five hours.

You can get the teriaki sauce at your grocery store pre-made. Add enough to coat all the meat, I mentioned a cup, but you can add more or less depending on how many squirrels you cook up. Be generous with the teriaki sauce, but you don't want them squirrels swimming in it. There should be about a half inch in the bottom of the slow cooker.

You can do the same recipe with quartered squirrels. They don't have to be whole.

Another idea I have used several times. Season and flour the squrriles and fry till lightly brown. Drain excess frying oil and place in an electric skillet or crock pot. Cover with cream of mushroom soup and cook slowly for 5 hours.
