Anyone try out the scent lok vertigo camo clothing?

Postby silvergts1998 » Tue Jan 05, 2010 10:39 pm

I just bought a lightly used set. Pants, jacket and headwear. It looks pretty impressive, but most likely will use it for next deer season late fall. Right now with the weather being 10-20 degrees out I will stick with my Carhartt bibbs and jacket. If I can get the scent lock jacket over my carhartt jacket I may give it a try. The problem with scent lok is that it's medicore quality compared to Carhartt stuff which I just discovered. Carhartt keeps you sooooo warm! Plus scent lok seems a bit pricey also. I got my complete outfit for $260 which retails over $360.00 but even with my discounted price it's still pricey. My Carhartt didn't even cost that much. Any experience?

Went and got it. I got a discount on it for $260 and got one size larger so I could wear clothing under it. For real cold weather it does not do a good job keeping you warm like Carhartt. The material is soft and quiet, but cheap. Camo pattern is awesome! I personally think scent lok is way over priced for the quality of what you get. Over all it's a very nice camo pattern but I doubt this camo out fit will wear well at all. The inside should have been quilted stitched to stop the lining from moving around.

Here's a Video.

Nice looking outfit. Great camo pattern. I think that the scent lok stuff is over rated period. Play the wind and you are doing just as good and save money too.

I agree it's way over priced the the carbon tech is over stated in my opinion. I just wanted this for the camo pattern for the skyline. Maybe I should of hired a air brush artist and had them paint up a carhartt suit.

Carhartt has camo outfits. Try Walls also.

I am flat out amazed how well the Vertigo outfit worked. (Not the scent portion but the camo pattern). Deer could not make me out when they where climbing up the hill where i was in my tree stand.
