Got questions about what to grow and when to grow it? This is the place to ask.

Does anyone use an atv with implements on it to disc or care for their food plots? If so ,how do they work? I was wondering about what to buy. The implements or just find an old small farm tractor.

How much land are you talking about?

2-3 acres? 200-300 acres?

I have found that the ATV implements dont work quite as well as our tractor and plows do. But alot of it depends on what you want to do

I would say that an ATV would work that ground just fine.
If I had to save the money by using an ATV then thats the way I would go

Not exactly sure what or where. I do want to attract turkey and deer.Posible some type of clover. Something easy and fool proof as possible. (my lack of green thumb).

we have 1 1/2 acre food plot on our land that we use a combo of 4wheeler attachments and an old 8N tractor, the tractor is used for discing and deweeding (the word escapes me right now) and the 4 wheeler for fertilizing, compacting, dragging. And we have a 1 1/4 acre Soybeans and 1/4 acre Turnips, and this year the deer had the soybeans demolished before our gun season, but have barely touched the turnips yet.
