little bit about me first....im a COLLEGE Student, and don't have exactly everything i need such as a Grill....i have a basic kitchen oven stove, and i have my trusty little George Forman grill...

i killed an Axis dear off my ranch during the break and i was able to snag some backstrap to take to school....herrs the problem...i dont know what to do with it, all i know how to do really is make it into basically chicken fried steak with the strap

if you can tell me how to marinade it and how to cook it on my limited kitchen...(NO wood grill or propane)

and even better if you could also tell me what pairs good with it IE potatoes macaroni green beans corn etc,.

And im not 21 so i can't but red wine to marinade with

We shoot them down in Argentina all the time. The best recipe I know of is just make a mushroom gravy really thick, cover the meat with the gravy, cover it. Put it in the oven for abour 2 hours adding milk or water to keep the gravy flowing.
