Back from Az. public land hunt

O.K. First .. this is going to be somewhat a RANT. Not whinnin about not getting anything. But some of the guys out there who want to call themselves "Hunters" are LYING to themselves & their girlfriends, wives, friends. Riding around on a quad all day does not make you a hunter....it makes you a nuisance to the real hunters who have taken the time to scout, get up before dawn, walk into their blind IN THE DARK!!! Then after they get settled in 20 minutes after the sun up YOU come crashing through the brush DIRECTLY behind their blind like a bull elk, only to say " I saw your truck half mile back there, but didnt think you where hunting HERE"
Then there is all the beer cans, BOTTLES, trash & other stuff that I, (YES I SAID I ) picked up along the side of the forest roads. OOOOHHHH Let me not forget the gate that we found RAN OVER & BROKEN BY A TRUCK. (pic to follow) Read the big yellow sign on the gate that I (YES I AGAIN) wired shut. The rancher fixed it the next day,HE SHOULDNT HAVE HAD TO.
In closing. My brother & I spent a total of 6 out of 10 hunting days trying to find a buck. We saw 1, I could not get an honest clean shot on him, so I let him go. We did meet a few ethical hunters & nice guys. My brother is moving to Arkansas next year. I believe I will NOT be putting in for Az. deer & opting for an Ark. NON RESIDENT hunt with my bro. next year. He is on here now Handle is ROWDY1........... Apologies to the mods if this aint allowed. And to the ARKANSAS guys who may read this ROWDY1 is a respectable, ethical, honest hunter (not just cuz hes my little bro) :D Later fellas......& ladies too

I had a similar problem,,,people driving around the fields on gravel roads,,driving through the fields,,,i couldnt even get out in my own fields to work due the idiots shooting anything that moved. I contacted MDC and they put ROBO deer to work.

Just by coincidence we where camped 1/4 mile from a game warden who was on vacation. He got his deer opening day, & was waiting for his grandson to come up. He told us they just dont have enough resources to put alot of guys in the field during season..... We saw 1 warden in the 6 days we where out there, & he was flying down the road (to a call, I presume).......What happened to the days, Drive to your spot, get out of the truck, & HIKE IT IN?

I hear you, I hate ATVs, (I have one but don't use it to hunt from) any fat A$$Clown can drive in 10 minutes where it takes me an hour to hike in. Here in the northern part of the state NO ATVs allowed, less deer, but I like it better.
