BAR 30-06 "click" when loaded

Great forum.

I have a BAR 30-06, lightweight model, four years old, and it has a problem.

When chambered and loaded (1 chambered, 3 in the clip) my gun makes a metallic click noise when I tip it up or down, and it seems to come from the area of the magazine. I took it to a gunsmith and naturally I couldn't get it to happen, but it sure as hell does it in the woods. I hunt in Maine where the temperature during the rifle deer season runs anywhere between 10-50 degrees. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Hey chk the forum and find Samsc03 he uses an older version of that gun he may have a similar issue
