best sights for lever action?

ok, i have a win M94 30-30, and from what i hear the sights that come on it are not the best. i would like to put some new sights on it, but i do not want any type of glass. does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

I dont know if you can get them for that rifle, but i have always been a huge fan of peep sights.

I've seen peep sights on M94's before. If I were you I would try to find someone that has a rifle with peep sights on it and try it out before you commit to putting a peep sight on. I've like peep sights personally but some people have a tough time with them.

Incase you haven't done anything with your gun yet, i have a win 94 in 32spl, and a Marlin 1894 44mag. Both have Lyman peep sights. I think they are great, much better than the irons, and more fun than a scope. i would recomend the peep.
