Bowhunting locations in Washington!

Hey im 20 years old and just recently started bowhunting. I started out hunting in the town of klickitat a couple years ago but noticed the deer just are not around as much anymore...maybe im in the wrong spot. I live in Vancouver and really dont care whether I go for mule deer or blacktail...preferably blacktail cause they will be closer. I would really like to take my first buck and just do not know any good locations for deer...or elk for that matter. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
