Postby new hunter » Sat Aug 23, 2008 1:28 pm

Just wanted to know if anyone could point me in the direction of a good mechanical? So many to choose from. If you guys had any promblems with some or seen any advantages with others? would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your input....

I shoot all kinds of heads. I test them. I can tell you that the NAP spitfire is very hard to beat. Check them out.

It's hard to be beat anything NAP puts out.

I have used 2 types the Rocket steelheads and the Spitfires..The spit fires were the better of the two. Those are the only two mechheads that I have used.

I am going to try the rage 3 blade this year, I was going to use the 2 blade but figured that the bigger hole will leave a better trail. However I heard another poster say that the fat blocked the hole and the cavity filled up

the nap nitron is a very good broadhead and it flies like field tip out of a well tuned bow!

i had that happen once with a spifire but it wasnt exactly the best placed shot.If you put in the boiler room you shouldnt have to worry about that.

The 2 blade Rage has a bigger cutting diameter than the 3 blade Rage. Makesure that your state allows "barbed" heads. I believe that the Rage is considered one because it locks open once deployed.
