If it is a urine based scent, it doesnt get better with age. As soon as you break the factory seal, the urea starts turning to ammonia and loses it attracting qualities. I get rid of opened bottles of urine at the end of every season, unopened bottles go in the fridge to help keep them fresh until next season. You want to keep the urine based scents in a cool, dark place to help keep it as fresh as possible before, during and after season. That is why you see urines in dark bottles.
