After owning my .270 remington for 2 years, I decided to replace the factory scope with this beauty. I went to the local gun shop and put one on layway. It was priced at $270, traded in an .22 that I had and hardly shot.

I don't have a lot of knowledge about optics but this scope is a great buy. I was able to see longer than the original scope. The only thing that I thought I would like was the FireFly reticle. I tried it out and it made my vision worse whenever I put the gun down. but I am excited about the new purchase and hope to have a deer in the crosshairs soon.

While I got a new scope, I decided to try a new brand of ammo since I had to re-sight it. I use to shoot the Winchester Ballistic Silvertip bullets. But changed to Horandy 130gr Interbond. started it out @ 50 yds, grouped within .5"... moved it to 100 yds and was grouped maybe 1"...

Now I just gotta get rid of the Remington 710!

i had a 710 for one deer season. not cool to take one shot at a running deer pull the bolt back and have it completly come out of the gun.... i traded that in for a savage and i love it. as for the scope i just got a leupold rifleman 4-12x40mm for $239.95 cant beat that price the optics are sick not to mention the lifetime warranty. not saying the scope u have is junk im sure its great, but u just cant beat a leupold. just my 2cents enjoy the scope! and hurry up and get rid of that 710 asap!!!

They are fine scopes indeed. I have a 3200 in 4x12 on my TC Carbine in .22 Hornet. I use this for head shots on Snowshoe hares, and other edible game at long range.

Fine optics indeed, and good prices, too!
