I am thinking about doing some planting this year, thought about using clover seeds, what kind should I go with and would the co-op have them? what else can I plant inexpensively?

Red and white is a good choice. Go to your local feed and seed store and ask them what they would suggest for your area. I always have used a seed blend from the local co-op with clover, oats, wheat, austrian winter peas, rye and rapeseed. I pay about $16 for a 50# bag. The clover will be more expensive by it's self but, it will grow back year after year up to around 5 years.
