Hey everyone,
I just recently moved to Utah for the military and was going to buy a colorado deer tag for this fall. If anyone would be willing to share some good units i would greatly appreciate it.

I have had good luck in Unit 72/73. I'm applying for another area this year but have no preference points. Put in for an area that requires a non- res pref point and as a second choice, apply for an area that doesn't require one. That way you can still hunt this year and have a pref point in hand for next, in a high demand area. Or, why not just hunt Utah this year? They have great mule deer populations. I have not hunted there in several years, but used to hunt the southwest portion in the area of I-15 west of Beaver.

i was thinking of hunting in Utah as well this year but i have heard that Colorado has some amazing hunting opportunities. thank you for the info and i will most definitely do the 1st/2nd choice to get a preference point.
