You can spend a little money up front on a grinder and some other accessories and save a lot of money in the long run. Plus, you can do what you want with the deer and you also know that it is your deer. I started by helping my brother butcher my deer when I was younger and used his equipment until I got my own. I have had a small electric grinder for about 6 years and I am ready to upgrade. Glad that I took up this hobby as it has saved me hundreds.

Agreed,,,i spent alot of money on deer processing,,,it used to run me in the $90 dollar range,,,multiply that by doing 7-8 per year. I went down the hiway a few miles to the hunting specialty store that starts with a big C and purchased the 1 hp meat grinder. Another smart purchase is a food vaccuum,,keeps the meat from freezer burning thereby. I figure the purchase has paid for itself SEVERAL times over.
