I had cancer a while back in my right arm and i got a permit to use a crossbow cause i have little motion in my arm. So i was wandering what would be the best crossbow to get for 450 or less?

Crossbow

Postby Bushie Jackman » Wed Oct 08, 2008 11:18 am

When I was in the market for a crossbow a while back, I ask the archery pro if the Ten Point crossbow was the best on the market, he told me it wasn't the best, just the most expensive. So with that he ended up talking me into and purchasing a Horton crossbow for around $350 "set up." Although I don't use it anymore, it was very accurate and I tallied 6 harvests before putting it to sleep and picking up my compound again.
For the money that you have, there are now a lot more choices than there was back then. Good Luck in your search. and with your cancer remission!!!

I have hunted with a few crossbow hunters and an a majority of the use the Ten Point line. Parts (if needed) are around locally in my area if WI and MN.
Good Luck this season glad to have you here.

crossbow

I personally use Barnett. But with your limited arm movement, what ever kind you get, get a hand crank. Mine is only 15 lbs of torque to crank it (like a fishing pole) back instead of 150# pull back. Barnetts is built into the stalk. Makes it nice.
Good luck with everything...

10 Point

I have a 10 Point, 165# crossbow with Accu-Draw shooting a 22" bolt with 125 gr Wasp 4 blade broadheads. A deadly and very acurate weapon. Service from 10 Point is great! A little costly but some used ones are available if you look around. Good luck!
