Dec,31 Geese

Dec,31 Geese

Postby bruceba » Fri Jan 02, 2009 9:39 am

I live about a mile off the Oldman River in Southern Alberta. As long as the river stays open and doesn't ice over we have Geese hanging around.
I live on the north end of Lethbridge with my yard backing on to the fields.
We have so may geese out back some days and they are so loud you'd think they were landing in the kitchen. There are also half a dozen Bald Eagles that hang around the river while the geese stay around. I'm going to see if I can get some pictures of them as soon as they weather warms up.

I'm not a bird hunter but I love the pics. You should put these on post cards.
