Deer Whistles / Auto Alarms

Good Afternoon All,
I was wondering if anyone on this board has used an alarm for their vehicles to prevent a collision with deer. Do they work and can you advise what kind you have? We're just attempting to avoid an accident with the many deer in our neighborhood. Thank you for your help.

Had never put a lot of stock in them.....til I hit two deer last fall. Bought some cheap ones from Walmart after the second accident. No more deer, but dogs seem to chase the truck more now :D

Hey,

The only thing that I found that works is bright headlights so that you can see them, a vigilant eye to the side of the road to look for the tell tale glowing eyes, and laying on the horn when you see one. I personally have never hit one, I do not beleive in those stupid little whistles and feel that my method works considering that I have not hit one yet.
