DNR Deer Numbers

Postby deerluvr108 » Wed May 19, 2010 7:11 am

We have been researching the current issue involving the DNR and the numbers that they put out to the public concerning deer population. We wanted to start a discussion of what hunters think about this issue. Personally, we believe that the numbers they came up with are not as accurate as they should be.

What are your opinions?
What do you think could be done to solve this problem?

If anyone has any information they would like to post, please feel free to do so.

Thanks! :P

It's the million dollar question. I think the DNR lies simply because they have been highjacked, payed off, and controlled by anti-gun activists, animal rights activists, and environmentalists who want to ban hunting. They want to ban hunting because then animals won't be "murdered" and according to them, people won't need guns. The latest Pennsylvania deer management program was developed by the national audubon society who is in bed with insurance companies, animal rights activists, and environmentalists - Penssylvania, one of the biggest hunting states in the US.

I disagree with you about the dnr lying. In my opinion i think the Dnr are just not that all accurate with the numbers they are supplying. I wouldn't go as far as saying that they are just lying to the public.

No, I agree with you. The DNR isn't lying, but they need to get better about their number accuracy. It's leading the hunters on. My dad hunts and he said he didn't see one deer in the few days he was out there. It's sad cause it is such a valuble recreation.
