We've had a harsh winter so far, and you can see how much weight she has lost since the trail cam pic. There is sure to be a high mortality rate this winter.

If she survives this winter i'd think about getting a doe tag next fall just with her in mind, as she gets older she's going to find it more and more difficult to survive on three legs in deep snow and some winter some dogs or coyotes will pull her down.
Injured deer are exactly why I like to buy an extra tag and if you don't need all the meat lots of people like getting venison at Christmas.
