Elk in Unit 23, AZ

I am new to the area and got drawn for this unit for the Nov. hunt. I have been scouting and seen some deer but no elk. I looked on the AZGF web site and scouted those areas but no love. I was wondering of anyone out there would be kind enough to share a few tips on where to go! I dont mean to E-scout but im just trying to gather as much info as posible as im sure most hunters would. (please dont take that the wrong way)!

Sorry for the late reply, But were you did you get elk last year?

Try going to Punkin Center of the 188 to forest road 71, east to the forest road 609 till you get to the top of the mountain. At the Y you can go left and check out that area.
