If anyone is interested in buying these deer thats great but I would warn that you do need to be aware of some things that will likely be required besides the obvious of having a high fenced area for them to live in so they don't escape into the wild.

Depending where you live you will likely also have to get a liscense/permit from your state and maybe even the county you live in to legaly keep them.

That means you need to consult your state about transporting non native live deer into your state and your county to see if any regulations exsist about keeping them on your property including but not limited to health inspections of the deer.

At the very least you should expect your state to demand that they pass a test for both Bovine Tuberculosis and Brucellosis and possibly even a visual health inspection by a state veteranarian for CWD.

Obviously this isn't like bringing home a puppy.

In Missouri there is no regulations on fallow deer and you dont have to be cwd certified. I keep mine in six foot fencing fallow deer are not known for trying to jump fences I have raised deer for several years without a problem.

Thats Missouri but quite a few states do have regulations about bringing in non-native species of animals including fallow deer, etc into their states.

As I said "if someone wants to do it great" but I know if I was selling something here that depending on where someone lives could cause the person to need animal health inspections, permits, etc I would have at least advised people to check their states regulations before buying them.

But thats the way I am.

We visited and he agreed your prices were great. But he would not be willing to pay for cost from here to there. I failed to mention your desire for a trade of some kind. Could or would you want to bring the animals with you for a hunt of some sort??? Just thinking out loud and not speaking for him. He asked the age of your big buck and its size/class. Thanks
