He knew he wanted to play. I heard that an unamed player for the Vikings said that Favre told him he wanted to sign but he didn't want to go through training camp. Looks like he got both of his wishes.

You want Drama... The Philadelphia Eagles signed Michael Vick. I personally will no longer watch the Eagles at all. Michael Vick should not have been ever allowed to play professional football again. Sad that these guys who have the world by the you know what cannot seem to be decent on and off the field. Sends a sad message to our youth that its OK to be an A-hole if you can play sports.

Oh please. The guy did something illegal, got caught and paid his dues by serving time in prison. The is no reason what so ever that he shouldnt be able to go on with his life as long as he doesnt continue his illegal activities. You do realize that the NFL is full of people that have committed crimes that were alot worse than what Vick did. There are at least 2 players that have killed PEOPLE (and did less jail time than Vick) and many more with weapons violations and drug charges. So if you are going to cop the attitude that "I hate the Eagles because Vick raised fighting dogs.", then you might as well stop watching pro football altogether.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Favre, Im tired of that guy. I really used to respect him, but his constant crying and BS has worn all of that out. I wish he would just go away.

Ya I'm tired of it all as well. The Queens can have him. Out of all this BS the lucky one here is Adrian Peterson.

As far as Vick...Its not like he was killing small children. What he did was wrong but he has paid his dues. Let'em play

Vikings is perfect for Favre and he could be in the playoffs this season. But from the standpoint of a former franchise player, he shouldn't have done that. If he really loves football, he should have concentrated on back-end support rather than becoming the subject of jokes

LOL! A winning team? Favres got a better chance playing for detroit this year and going to the playoffs than the Vikings have of winning a superbowl... Maybe one day their dream of winning a superbowl will come true, but until then...

On the topic of Favre, he has now kept three different organizations waiting on hand and foot to see if he wants to play football or not. It is a joke and I hope the Vikings suck this year as they do much of the time. Brett Favre has gone from a respectable team player to a selfish person that cannot even be compared to the indecisiveness of most women.

On the topic of Vick, I have to agree that what he did was terrible, but it is nothing to keep him from playing. At least he has done actual jail time which is more than most NFL players can say about their crimes. The behavior of professional sports players is ridiculous, but the standard has already been set extremely low.
