Did anybody have the same trouble I had this year? I killed a 7 pointer during the rut but for the first time in the six years Ive hunted this lease in Ga. the deer didnt move much during shooting light. There are plenty of deer on the lease but they would move mostly at night. I was wondering if all the hurricanes we had this year made a difference or not? Ive talk to some other clubs in my area and they had the same problems and their number were 50% of last years.

I think a lot of it had to do with the weather. I'm in MS and i didn't see as much daylight movement either. Still saw a lot of does and small bucks, but I don't think as many big deer were taken this year as last. Be curious to see how the stats stack up when the dept. of wildlife releases harvest results.

Yeah here in TX nuthing was realy moving the whole season. I dont know why no deer were hittin the feeders or anything. there were so many acorns out this year that probably why. but there was alot of night activity.
