Hi! i am new to this and have lots of questions b4 07 season starts. My biggest thing right now is food plots. I have about 200 acres in an area that my father and one other landowner own that I am allowed to hunt and planning to start slow by doing one or two small 3/4 acre perinnial plots. I am planning the plots in some openings in the woods where it is partially shade. I am aware of ph and all that stuff but I am having a hard time deciding what to plant. My first choice that I would like to try is chicory with some other perinial clovers. I don't know how chicory would grow in partial shade. Any info on this or other suggestions would be greatly appriciated!!!!!
