I have been the guest speaker a few times at Memorial Day services, Veteran banquets,etc. I always end with some words that I read on a restroom wall in Iraq, written by a fellow unknown soldier.
LESS WE FORGET, IN HONOR OF OUR FALLEN BROTHERS, FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, FOREVER ON DUTY.
GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHO SO EVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT DIE BUT WILL LIVE FOREVER.
Just writing these words, brings a tear to my eyes.
