goin for my first hog

I will be headin to The Great State of Tennessee, hopefully in April, with my crossbow and maybe an old Marlin 30/30, to get my first hog. I will be on a ranch but would like to hear from some experianced harvesters of the pork, so , whatcha got? :idea:
when the freezer gets low, so does my pickyness
