where you want to go deer hunting in wa. st. depends on what your looking for in a hunt. north east wa is really good for whitetails but the body size is pretty small. if you want a big rack you ought to wait for the late hunt if your using modern firearm. in the early (regular) season you usually see three or four year old bucks. tine length on a three point or 4 point (one side not counting eye guards) is usually 3 or 4 inches. in the late season you have a better chance at a bruiser. collville is a great place to start in the north east. mule deer in wa get much bigger bodies and the best places that i know of are twisp, omak, and okanogan. good camp sites at the concunully lakes and lots of places to hunt. blacktails some of the biggest bucks are back yard bucks. and the olympics are a great place to start. matlock and browns creek area. shelton also puts out some nice bucks as well. then there is my honey hole gmu. if you guess it i will tell you but i'm not giving it up any more. i took one gut there and told him not to tell anyone and the next day there where 7 of his friends in my spot. the all got bucks. capital forest in oly. puts out bruisers every year as does tinino. one of my brothers students got a 5 x 4 that dressed at 240 lbs. which is freaking huge for western wa blactail. hope this helps see ya in the woods
