I agree completely with bowhunters. Comfort is the key to success along with lots of time practicing. Any bow can be made quiet with the right accessories. Although, some are a bit louder than others. His reasoning behind saying hoyt bows are loud could be any number of things as bowhunters stated.
I shoot my bow every day, you don't have to shoot for hours though. I shoot 3 arrows, retreive them and wait about 5 minutes before shooting again. This pattern continues for about an hour or so and by doing that, I can hit a silver dollar sized spot at 60 yards with 3 arrows consistantly.
shoot every bow you can at your local shop before you make a decision and make sure its comfortable to you and is practical for the type of hunting you do. If you tree stand hunt, you don't want a long axle to axle bow. the shorter bows tend to be easier to manouver while in a stand. I hope this helped

I keep hearing this voice in my head that tells me to stay home and clean my guns...
