Its not unusual for girls to be better shots than boys, they have more steady hands. If ONLY i could get my daugher even a little interested,,,they have nice little pink rifles nowadays. Mine is a pink freak.

Huntin license

Postby rogo » Fri Dec 19, 2008 11:55 am

Congrats!!!!

Now you need to check in with your state Wildlife office to see if they offer lifetime hunting licenses like Vermont does. I bought my grandson's license the day after he was born so he never has to buy a hunting license as long as he lives. Saves a bundle of money over buying a new license every year for your child. I paid $130.00 for a combination hunting and fishing license for him and it has proven to be the best investment I ever made.

Congrats again!!

Congrats on the new addition. Boy or girl, it doesnt matter. Hope he/she is healthy.

The lifetime license is the ticket. Tennessee has one that costs $200 before the 3rd birthday. No other license needed other than duck stamps.

Congrats to you and your girlfriend. As a father of a 9 year old girl. I can tell you that I have found a great fishing buddy for sure. I also can brag that last trout season opener here in PA was very cold, I mean deer season cold and she was right beside me all morning while I watched several fathers with young boys running off the creek to get warm in the truck. She also sat with me two days this deer season and did very well sat still for 4 hours in the stand with Old Dad. I used Ironheads idea to use a sleeping bag and she sat snug as a bug the hole time just watching for the deer to come. So I wish you and your girlfriend the best of luck and that no matter what you have its healthy and happy. Good Luck, I would suggest catching up on some sleep now, becasue in a few scant months that is not going to be a plentiful commodity

I wish PA would get a lifetime license that you could buy at birth. Congrats! It took me two times to get the boy! I wouldn't trade the girl for anything. We shot a deer this year. She is a fine hunting partner.
