Graf Blackpowder

Finally got out today and tried some loads with Graf blackpowder. Was shooting from the sitting position off sticks at 100 yards. The first target was shot with 62grs. of 1f Graf, wax paper, crisco and the 535gr. Postell bullet cast from lead pipe with my lube. Won't be using 1f again. Well...maybe if I done more work on it.



Now this second target I can live with...especially since Graf is half the price of my Swiss. Exact same load as above, but using 3f Graf. The 3f grouped much better.



This last group was shot with my 2f Swiss. Been awhile since I reloaded with 2f, prefer 3f Swiss. Just didn't take any. Same load as the others mentioned above. Would've been a good group if that flyer hadn't appeared...just me I guess.



The rest of the time was spent shooting at stumps and such. Sure do love the sound of that deep rolling thunder echoing down the river.
