Doing Fine so far, getting a little breezy and dark out there. They say we may have hurricane force winds for 12hrs. The wind field of this storm is amazing. I work for the FD so I will be up all night. They say we may be here till monday or later. :(

Well we are making it. Still no power at the house. Hopefully within the next week we will have it back. Coming to work is a luxury now haha. I will let everyone know when i put the camera back out and hope to get some more pics. Might start a hurricane pics thread too.

well, no buck pictures this time. I went out to put up the camera and realized i forgot the bungees. I stood it up on a stump but some darn raccoons knocked it over after only a few doe pics. maybe next time :( .

IKE Update..... Still no power at my house, now they are saying maybe friday. That will put us at 2 weeks without power. Im dealing with it fine, its like a big campout to me. i might actually be a little bummed when the power comes back on. Oh well, then i wont have to hear all the other people around here crying about no power.

Good to hear you're doing well. I'd probably want to stay without power too.

The top one 3.5 mid to upper 130's. The second one maybe upper 120's. Not a lot of mass and short tine length he looks also 3.5. nice buck's nonetheless. Shooter's

Well, no pictures lately because I moved my camera up to where I hunt a couple hours away. Im leaving tomorrow for the weekend, opening day is saturday!! we did a lot of prep work this year and I hope it pays off. food plot should be standing, the feeders are full and its all set.

UPDATE: The bucks i posted pictures of have become illusive to say the least, I know they are out there but I havent seen them lately. I still go on walks down there. A lot of times i will find some good cover and just sit. I have seen the 4pt but none of the others.

On a walk the other day i thought i had scanned the clearing good before stepping out. Apparently not, a buck comes walking right at me 40 yds out. I froze, no cover and he just keeps coming. I manage to get behind a tree and he walks right next to me, a little 5pt. I stepped it off after and it was 5yds!! .... he got a little past me, caught my wind and bolted after staring me down for a good 30-45 seconds. It got my heart going.

Good luck to everyone going out soon, Stay safe and lets see some pictures of these guys on the ground!!
