Hello all! Name's Joel....Live in Hampton, and from the Shenendoah Valley (Elkton). Just started hunting after a 19yr layoff!! I gotta say, things are way different out there now! At least down here compared to the Shen. Valley. A little story.....I went to Bass Pro (less than a mile from my house) when I decided to get back into hunting, to look at bows, and I honestly thought I was in the kids section the bows were so small, I left and went back home to research on the internet because their are so darn many! I bow hunt near Wakefield, VA, and gun hunt in Cumberland. The deer are small compared to what I am used to down here, so small, that I passed on the first 2 I saw 15 min. into bow season this year! But, the upside to that is... I haven't been hunting yeat without seeing a deer. Anyway, just want to say hello, touch base with my fellow hunters.
