One of my favorite hunting spots is a farm that is not being lived in but still has barns and buildings and the grass is cut, behind this is large track of field that was soybeans this year but is now cut. What I did was got very bored a few weeks back and went there when there was a good amount of moon light and took my binoculars and was very surprised how well I could watch the deer traveling in and out and ended up staying there until daylight. I learned a great deal about their travel routes and saw some Bucks I hadn't seen before. I'm amazed how much the binoculars bring in extra moon light. I also saw a few coyotes.

I've done it seveal times and never had any luck.
What I've found is the brighter the moon the more the big bucks treat it like day light and stay in the shadows.
