I live and hunt in central Va. Lived in Chesterfield all my life! At this stage of my live I have to admit that I'm a full time waterfowler and a part time deer hunter. I do enjoy hunting the rut and now spend time "out behind the house trophy hunting my property". I own 18 acres which has a small swamp(bedding area) on it.
Being,what I call myself a part time deer hunter I no longer belong to a Big Deer club, those with club houses and dog pens and the likes. I was raised in such a club and must admit,I do miss the fun!
At this point in time and being that I spend most of the deer season chasing feathers I can not justity the time and money to belong to such a club. BUT.......and the reason for this post is the hopes of finding a small group of guys (stillhunters)that have access to a smaller trac of land holding deer and a few turkeys for the upcoming(next) season. I'd like to hunt with you this season as a visitor so I can see the land,meet the other members and allow you the oportinity to meet me. Thanks for your time& good luck in the deer woods!
