Hello from Northeast Ms

Postby brushpile » Sat Dec 03, 2005 9:47 am

Hi there new here, I am in NE MS. I have been hunting this first season with not so much good luck, but did finally kill a doe. Good luck all and I am still trying to figure out when the rut is starting in NE MS. Looks like maybe in late Dec not sure or mid Jan. If I am wrong someone let me know. I love this chat here its really been quite imformative , I am a female by the way, so anything I can learn here will be put to good use.

Welcome to the forum. Always glad to have a female hunter on board. Hope you enjoy the forum and ask any questions you may have.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

Hey Thanks for the welcome. I am really learning alot. I killed a doe and thats all this year. I would love to kill the big buck I have seen running at night in the same fields I hunt, but, for the last two years they say nobody has been able to kill him. His spread is about a 20 and is non typical 11 pt. He actually looks like a cow, lol. Thanks for the info...later yall.
