Help with children and ladderstand safety

My daughter has shown interest in going hunting with me (i am new to it myself). How are yall ensuring safety while climbing a ladder stand with your children. Once to the top she will be in a harness, but how can I ensure she dosent slip/fall while climbing 16ft and onto the platform? Scares the mess out of me.

Any suggestions please
