Help with public land unit 15 & 16

I am looking for some help in which areas to spend most of my time in. I have a bow tag and plan on hunting public or walk in areas. Any info would help. Thanks so much Jay

As far as where to go for a chance at a big buck it doesn't matter, here in Kansas you could have one pop up just about anywhere you hunt so its just a matter of luck if you pick an area to hunt that has an old buck in the area and if he walks in front of you and gives you a shot without you getting busted.

Since you are hunting public land I would probably spend more time in unit 16 to be away from Wichita, the closer you are to cities the more you are liable to see other hunters intrude on your area, most people in Kansas are courteous but being close to large populations it still happens.
