Hunting ADK- Saranac Lake

I know it's only January. But I'm getting ready for ML Season any way. Does anyone know of a good place to stay in the Saranac Lake Area. I'm not looking for a Guide. Planning on spending a few days up there in Oct 09. If I happen to take a buck or doe I really don't want to drag it thru the lobby of the Best Western !

lots of places out there try close to or in lake placid. theres alot of really nice and reasonably priced places to stay in that area and its really close to saranac. good luck with the hunting up there its tough. ill be up in indian lake for the early archery season on opening day.

Hey there are cabins that you can rent just before you get into Raybrook. They are on the right side as you are going north.[/url]
