Well that covers almost all of my off season here in Alabama. If i was rich id hunt Roe deer in the off season and Whitetails during season. But a hunting trip to Europe might not be to bad. If you don't mind tell me a little about the hunting in Romania. Is there alot of hunting land or If i was interested in making a trip over there to hunt would I have to hunt through a Guide service.

Hi,

I live in Romania and Germany. I speak Romanian and German very good, English not so good.

As far as I know American and Canadian citizens do not need an entry visa to visit Romania (for stays up to 90 days). There is no Entry or Departure Tax.

Is your choice if you want a Guide Service (company) or go direct to the chalet hunt.

In Romania all the information on the hunt you can find at AGVPS ( Romanian General Association of Hunters and Anglers) or RNP ( National Association of the Forests). They also make the price for the hunt, every year. Unfortunately they do not have a website in English. Information you can find on some local Hunting Association which are in every county. This depend on who is in charge at the local AVPS (Association of Hunters and Anglers of (county) . In Romania there are 41 counties and in each of them you can hunt, the species that are there.

On RNP you can find following prices:
http://www.rosilva.ro/anunturi/notime/t ... e_2009.pdf

The names of the animal are also in latin, so i thing it is ok.

For more information you can write me.
