Hunting item found

While out hiking in the Northern Kettles yesterday I found a hunting item that was dropped by a deer hunter (the item makes it safe to assume it was a deer hunter). For the sake of trying to return it to its rightful owner, I am not going to say what it is. I know it's a long shot but I thought I would try. If you can think of something you (or pass this on to a friend if it may apply) dropped while deer hunting this season, PM me with what the item is, a description, and a relatively specific area you lost it. This is not an expensive item, but is something that I am sure whoever owned would like returned.

FYI, a number of years ago I found something else while hiking and posted what the item was and approximately where I found it, and was inundated with people claiming ownership. If anyone has any better ideas of how to find the owner, let me know. If it is okay with moderators, feel free to post this on any other forums.
